Whether you're on a beer run, party hopping, or stuck waiting in line for the bathroom â€" here's how not to miss a single second of the Super Bowl â€" or the commercials:

No cable? No problem.

This year, Fox Sports [1] will stream the Super Bowl live and for free on its website and iOS app â€" including the game, commercials, and even the halftime show. But if you don't have an iPhone or iPad, you'll have to find another way to watch the game live on the go â€" or make due with o nline news and scores. They're also giving free English and Spanish "preview" access for a few key hours during Super Bowl Sunday on the Fox Sports Go [2] app â€" which will stream to iPads and PCs. You might not get the commercials though, unless you pay for it.

If you're looking for news, scores, or commentary during or after the game, try these sites:

Social networks get you the latest news right now

Even if you're watching the game live, staying tuned to key social feeds will make sure you're alerted to the latest as it happens â€" and give you a good place to cheer or commiserate with other fans. Be sure to follow these social accounts to get the full digital Super Bowl experience!

Less interested in the sports and more interested in the cheerleaders? Cheerleaders from both teams are active on social channels, too:

Stay on top of the game with apps

If you're looking to go beyond social channels, there are still some great options for keeping up with the game using an app for your smartphone or tablet. Here are your best bets:

  • For up to the minute live video, you'll want Fox Sports Go [9] app for iPhone and iPad.
  • The NFL has a full arsenal of mobile apps, but NFL Mobile [ 10] is a good place to start. If you're a Verizon customer, the app will let you stream games for $5 a month. And if you're looking for more apps, keep your eyes open for a Super Bowl specific app from the NFL, which should appear before game day.
  • ESPN SportsCenter [11] brings the latest ESPN coverage to your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
  • To keep up with the Seattle Seahawks, grab their mobile app [12] for Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, iPad, or Windows Phone.
  • If you're more of a Broncos fan, you'll want to pick up the Denver Broncos app [13] for Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, and iPad.

Keep up with the commercials

More interested in the ads than the game itself? Don't worry â€" your secret's safe with me. And with the amount of coverage Super Bowl ads are already getting, you're definitely not alone. You can catch early previews of Super Bowl 2014 ads online already or reminisce about ads past on Hulu and YouTube â€" as well as see new ads as they air. Here's where to get them:

  • Hulu AdZone [14] is currently showing Super Bowl ad hits from the past, but closer to game day it will have the latest Super Bowl commercials on offer, so you can enjoy them again or vote for your favorites.
  • YouTube's AdBlitz [15] also offers a selection of past advertising hits, but also has teasers of some of the 2014 ads if you just can't wait until game day.

So, if you've decided to forgo that $668,000 [16] price tag for luxe seat at the Super Bowl this year or the Broncos and the Seahawks just aren't "sexy" enough for you to stay glued to the tube all day, there are plenty of ways to keep up with everything about the big game that matters to you. How are you spending Super Bowl Sunday?
