Bringing the very best of live music to the iPhone and iPod touch, Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE: LYV) unveiled its completely re-imagined iOS 7 app today. The proprietary technology, developed in-house, now provides the best mobile app concert experience in the marketplace: search and discovery of artists and shows, a seamless ticket purchase process, and effortless sharing capabilities with built-in social features.

"As music fans, we wanted to build a new app that would make finding and going to shows easier and more fun," said Eric Garland, general manager, Live Nation Labs. "We've achieved that goal. By investing in new technology and working with Apple to harness the power of iOS 7, we've created an entirely new experience that includes personalized recommendations and mobile ticketing. Live Nation is listening to live music fans, and our team is proud to introduce a powerful new tool for getting out to see the show."

The event discovery feature brings fans' Facebook "likes" of artists' pages, past purchases, streaming activity and iTunes music into the app's recommendation engine and delivers fans personalized, curated event suggestions. The built-in social features will help fans share the excitement of the live concert; before the event, fans can use the RSVP feature to let their friends know they are going; during and after the event, fans can post videos and photos to share the fun of the live concert experience. The app also gives fans opportunities for mobile pre-sale, app-only promotions in Live Nation venues and exclusive content from artists.

The free Live Nation App is available from the App Store on iPhone or iPod touch or at AppStore.com/LiveNation [1] .
