Candy Crush Saga Named Top Free App on Both iPhones and iPads

Candy Crush Saga was named the top free app for both iPhones and iPads by Apple in 2013.

The game was the most downloaded app.

YouTube came in second for iPhones and iPads, while Temple Run 2 came in third.

Minecraft: Pocket Edition was the top paid app for both iPhones and iPads. Heads Up! was second for iPhone, while Pages was second for iPad.

Temple Run: Oz was third for both.

Duolingo, a language app, was named the top app of the year .
