page I am the first review. Well I guess I should be because I was one of the kids in this movie. My name is not listed in the credits above but it is lised in the main credits of the movie itself. I was Lally 1. The older brother of the one with the pillow. It was my First big break in the Movie industry. Working for Stanley Kramer who directed, Spencer Tracy, Kathrine Hepburn, etc. How does someone like myself ever top stars like that, you know what? YOU CAN'T!! Anyway to let you know its not a bad movie, not a great film, but there was a following for this movie for a while. Anyone reading this I guess you saw it & liked it. It has its moments. Some really good and some NOT so good. Kramer would not let us overlap dialogue. And personaly I think it hurts the film and realism. Kids do talk over each other and fast too. Here in some scenes its just too blatent. Some good performances, mine is ok, not great. Barry tends to go over the top but that was just him. The Method, all that crap. But if you buy it I think you will like it and see that it does have some moments you wont forget in this film. All in all you will enjoy this movie, based on the widely read book. more info I might label this movie some sort of work of art. The actor-brad pitt was wonderful within this motion picture that he must have won the particular oscar, instead of Sean Penn. This particular video also jogs my memory of Forrest Gump in many ways far too, so that as almost as much ast I dislike to admit this particular nevertheless the closing made me really feel somewhat bare inside of.
