Wallpapers of the week: Movember

Movember2011_PrimaryLogo_BLK1

‘Tis the season,” they say, but not yet the season for Christmas. The month prior to December is host to many wonderful things in life, most notably, Thanksgiving for Americans, Fall leaves, cold nights, and Starbucks never ending marketing blitz for the Pumpkin Spice Latte. As a man, or woman I suppose, November is also heralded as Movember [1] , a month to grow a mustache to help support awareness for men’s health issues.

Men the world ’round can participate by growing facial hair, particularly a mustache. If you haven’t started growing your stache, only three days passed, get busy. To celebrate the manly month of Movember, today’s post includes mustached wallpapers for the occasion…

Wallpapers

Mustaches are classy and timeless. They withstood the age of time. From the early classy cavemen, to swash buckling pirates, to presidents and kings, the mustache marks a certain dignity and masculine grace. Consequently, black and white simplistic mustaches with monocles and top hats seem like the perfect way to enjoy the season.

Matt Barker is the featured artist who creates wallpapers and icon mock ups, which are posted on his Tumblr page [2] . Below are simple black and white renditions of the featured wallpaper, but if you are looking for a specific color, feel free to contact him via email with requests.
