Free Download Cut the Rope (HD) Full Version Game for iPhone & iPad

As part of its App Of The Week promo offer, Apple is now offering Chillingo’s Cut the Rope game (both iPhone [1] and iPad versions) for free from now through Wednesday, September 4. This is the first time that Cut the Rope for iOS has ever been offered for free since it debuted in the App Store in October 2010. The iPhone version is regularly priced at $0.99 and the HD iPad version normally charges $3.99.

In case you have no idea what Cut the Rope is about, it’s a physics-based puzzle game that requires you to figure out ways to get a piece of candy into the mouth of a green cartoon monster called “Om Nom”. The candy hangs by one or several of the titular ropes which the player can cut with a swipe of their finger (or cursor), and can also be manipulated through other objects including bellows and floating bubbles. The other objectives are to pick up up to three stars per level by touching them with the candy, to keep the candy within the box, and to avoid spike and electricity hazards. Points are scored based on how many stars you collect and how fast you complete a level.
