Mumbrellaâs sister weekly title Encore has today launched an iPhone edition to complement its existing tablet edition.
The move comes on the same day that Apple launched the latest iPhones in its range â" the iPhone 5C and 5S.
Encore moved from monthly publication to weekly at the start of this year, at the same time that it dropped its print edition. Working with Reddo, Encore has been available for Appleâs iPads and on tablets powered by Googleâs Android platform.
Encore is free of charge on all platforms.
The vast majority of downloads of the Encore app have come from the iPad with 8764 downloads of the app. Only about five per cent of downloads have come from Android so far.
The last month or so has seen more than 1000 downloads per edition. The August 22 edition is the most downloaded to date, with 1075 iPad downloads.
Encore editor Brooke Hemphill said: âBy far the most common question weâve been asked since launching the tablet edition is when we will be able to make it available for iPhone. The day that Apple puts the latest versions of the iPhone on sale seemed like the perfect moment to answer that.â
Todayâs edition of Encore features the E List â" a comprehensive listing of the 200 most influential people in the industry.
Links to download the app for iPhone, iPad or Android tablet are available on the Encore home page. [1]
