CCS Middle School Times : The New iPhones!

Oh iPhones… We all know of them, many have them, and even people who don’t have one know the basics of using them. There are two new iPhones on the market now. Both models have their pros and cons, but hopefully this will help you make your decision on which one is best for you.

iPhone 5s

The iPhone 5s has many new features like a fingerprint scanner, better camera, faster processing chip, and an improved flash. Now you can also get a gold colored iPhone that looks very nice and classy. All of this starts at $199

iPhone 5c

The new iPhone to the block is the iPhone 5c. The c stands for color, which is very fitting considering that there are 5 colors such as blue, red, green, white, and yellow. You can get a new case that has circles cut out to show the color underneath to give it an accent. Perhaps one of the most appealing things about the iPhone 5c is that it is $100 cheaper than the 5s. However the fact that it is cheaper also means that it is made out of plastic. I have held it and it doesn’t feel wobbly or not sturdy in any way, actually it feels very nice and not cheap at all. All of this starts at $99

iOS 7

With all of the new iPhones, there is a new iOS to go with it; even if you don’t want to get a new iPhone, you can download it on your iPhone 4, 4s, or 5. It features many new things, but the biggest change is a whole new look for your apps and screen. Also, there is a new iTunes Radio, which is like Pandora. Additionally, there is new FaceTime Audio, which is just like calling, but it’s free. You can only call people with iPhones though. iOS 7 is a great addition to the awesome new iPhones.

Grace Baker (8th Grader) told me “I would want the 5s because I need the durability because I drop my phone a lot.”

Sam Korolos (8th Grader) said,”I want the 5s cause I like the thumb scanner because it’s awesome.”

Jack Cherry (8th Grader) said “I like the 5c because it is colorful and colors make me happy.”
