App Store Feature Allows You To Download Previously Compatible iOS Apps

older_versionWith the release of iOS 7 comes a new update to the App Store. Apple has begun offering “last compatible” versions of apps for users running older versions of iOS. When you try and download an app that is not compatible with your current version of iOS, Apple will offer you the option to download an older version that is compatible with your device. Hopefully everyone will move on over to iOS 7â€"but this not only helps those whose devices may not be compatible, it also helps those folks who simply aren’t interested in upgrading. iOS 7 is compatible with (and free for) the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, fifth-gen iPod Touch, iPad 2, iPad with Retina Display, and the iPad Mini.
