Cool Document-Creation Applications for iPhone and iPad

There are people who prefer to create documents using mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad. Microsoft Office 365 account may allow you to start creating documents, but it is somehow pricey. There are also features that are not available in Office 365 such as spell check and changing fonts. If you are an iPhone or iPad user, you are given a lot of better alternatives that are similar to Office 365 application.

iPad is considered as an immense platform used for writing because it has a virtual keyboard and physical keyboard can also be used in iPad such as iPad Dock and Wireless Keyboard. In fact, most iPad owners find it easy to create documents in their iPads as if they are using computers. There are certain applications that can be downloaded to make documents. These apps will also allow you to produce documents, start making spreadsheets and do PowerPoint presentation using your iPhone.

  •  Apple’s iWork â€" if you are a Mac user, then you are already familiar with Keynote, Pages and Numbers and you already know that  it’ much better than Microsoft. If you use iWork to create documents, you can easily connect it to iOS suite. You can easily transfer and read files using this application and it also allow you to export files in MS Office format like Doc, Ppt and XLS.
  • CloudOn â€" it is considered a one of the popular document creation app. Aside from being free to download, it is also ad-free. Cloud storage is supported and it is compatible with Microsoft Office documents, PowerPoint and spreadsheets.
  • Documents Free â€" this is another application that you can use for iPhone and iPad when it comes to creating documents. However, this application has limited capability because it’s only a lite-version. It can do whatever Office Mobile can do. If you want to create simple spreadsheets and minor editing on the documents, this app is surely the perfect choice. Once you are done with your documents, you can upload the files to Google Drive. Another good news about this app, it is supported by iCloud too.
  • Documents To Go â€" if your only goal is to get the job done, this app is good enough for you. This is not an elegant alternative, but it can create documents using your iPhone and iPad. This application contains the features that usual document processing apps have.
  • Byword â€" this application is very handy especially for those who have various collections of documents in different mobile devices because it is supported by iCloud and Dropbox. Although it comes with a minimal fee, you can export HTML or PDF files. It is also capable of printing documents and sending emails. Since you can sync the files using cloud computing, your files are readily available anytime you wish to edit using your iPhone, iPad or computer.
  • Simplenote â€" this is another cool document-creation app that has a cloud-based storage system. As the name suggests, this app has simple interface which makes it easy to create new documents. There is also a search box found on top of the document list and that means you can find your files/documents without much trouble. It is also compatible with wide array of devices. Aside from iPhone and iPad, this application is also available for Blackberry, Android and Windows Phone.
  • Pages â€" there is no doubt that it is one of the best word processing application for iPad and iPhone. The application allows users to format and edit documents with ease. iOS users can even add photos to these documents with no difficulty because it is just a drag-and-drop method. Although this is a paid application, users will not get disappointed with its performance.
