The charismatic, animated cartoon character appears alive, with lip movement synced to his speech and moving eyes, eyebrows, arms, and feet that express his emotions. Talking Tadelino fans can invite Facebook friends to download the app, earning themselves coins that can be used to purchase different outfits, features, and interactions for their cute, interactive friend.

Tapping his foot somewhat impatiently, Tadelino stands on the beach with the ocean behind him. As the day progresses, the sun rises and sets over the water. Occasionally, he puts his hand up to his ear, wondering, “Did you just say something to me?â€
Tap him and his eyes grow huge, bulging from his head; he does not like being punched, and he can become very angry. When the user talks, Tadelino automatically hears what is said â€" there is no need to push a button, because he is always listening. Immediately, he repeats what he heard, at the same speed and with the same inflections, but an octave higher in pitch. His lips are synchronized to his speech, and he punctuates his words with facial expressions and hand movements. Extremely funny, his voice sounds familiar, but remains unrecognizable.
Currently, there are four different outfits available for him to wear: Rocker, Secret Agent Man, Black Power, and Surfer. Each includes a new wardrobe, hairstyle, and accessories. Sharing Tadelino with their Facebook friends earns users coins that can be used to purchase new looks for the cartoon character. Coins are also available as an in-app purchase. Coming soon are additional features, interactions, clothing, mechanics, and more for the free-to-download, virtual friend.
