Did you know: There are over 450 elementary schools in the Toronto District School board alone… not to mention another 600 in the Catholic School system!
As a Realtor , it’s my job to know all about each school and provide my clients with the info they need.  Truth is, I sometimes forget what I had for lunch (though it’s usually a veal sandwich)… so keeping up to date on each school is nearly impossible!
Thankfully â€" there’s an app for that!
The School Locator [1] is free to download for iPhone users (There will also be versions for the Android BlackBerry and Windows Phone platforms) and is an indispensable tool for Realtors!  Simply type in the address or MLS number for a GTA listing and you instantly get the exact schools assigned by the school board for the home. Parents can see the Fraser Institute ranking, class size, and family income for each school.  The mapping function showing all schools in the area in comparison of the home.
Users of the app get 50 free searches ($4.99 for every 50 after), and can even bookmark favourite schools as well as obtain more info about the school from the Fraser website directly from the app!
