Last year, I was excited to be able to offer free downloads of First Communion, Baptism, and Confirmation invitations (or announcements) ! Not only did I have fun making them, but I was thrilled to hear from people that saved money because of them. Since last yearâs invitations/announcements have been downloaded so many times, I thought it would be fun to make a new set of free downloadable invitations for this year.
So, hereâs another set of First Communion, Baptism, and Confirmation invitations are available for free to download and personalize!
If you see one of the options that you love (from this yearâs collection or last yearâs collection ) but you donât want to try to mess with personalizing them yourself, you can pay me $15.00 and give me the information that you want on the invitation/announcement. Iâll create it and send you a .jpg or .pdf file (your choice) for you to have printed.
How to Download and Use Your Free First Communion Invitations
Just scroll down, find the card that you like best, and click the download link. It will come up with a .jpg file. Just right click to save the file to your computer.
You will then need some type of software that will allow you to add words to a jpg file. Some examples: Photoshop [1] , Photoshop Elements [2] , Corel Paintshop Pro [3] , PrintMaster [4] , Gimp (free) [5] , Paint (found in âAccessoriesâ of many computers), Picasa [6] , and any other program or software that will allow you to add text to a jpg file.
Like I already mentioned, if you love the invitations, but this particular part of it worries you, you can hire me to add your text to the announcement or invitation. After I customize it for you, Iâll just email the file directly to you.
How to Get Your First Communion Invitations Printed
Once you have your customized invitation (or announcement) ready, you can have them printed as photographs wherever you like having your photographs developed. Although I usually use a professional photo lab, I would suggest online sites like Winkflash [7] (which even has a sign up bonus) or Shutterfly [8] (also has a sign up bonus).
If this part also freaks you out, you can contact me for a quote as to how much it would cost for me to get them printed through my professional lab and send them (with envelopes) to you.
Limitations to Using These First Communion Invitations
Please remember that I have taken my time to share these with you for free. I even opted to not put my web address anywhere on them because I just didnât want to mark them up like that.
Because of all this, these invitations/announcements are available for personal use only. You may not sell them or redistribute them (even for free) in anyway. You also may not claim them as your own creation.
If you think people would like them, then you just need to send them here to download them (feel free to share the post via Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter well â" there are social media buttons at the end of this post). Using these for anything other than personal use is not only illegal and breaking copyright law, but itâs just not nice or honest. Thanks so much!
