ReaddleDocs Relaunched as Free Documents for iPad App | iPhoneConnection

DocumentsThe iPad was designed from the start as a great way to read, but few developers have been able to crack the perfect app for absorbing such content. Readdle is throwing its own hat into the ring with its free Documents app, now available on the App Store.

Readdle has a well-deserved reputation for quality apps, and this week they’re taking all of their skill and knowledge and rolling it into a free iPad app called Documents [1] , which the company is hoping will become a favorite with users.

“Read, listen, view, download, annotate almost anything you want on your iPad,” the app description promises. “Files, documents, music, videos, books, any content is at home in Documents by Readdle.

“Amazing attention to details, unmatched stability and design differs Documents from any app you have on the iPad,” the Documents description continues. “You will use it constantly, at home, office, university or on the road, every single day.”

Even coming from the creators of ReaddleDocs, PDF Expert and other productivity apps, that’s a bold claim, but if anyone can pull it off, it’s likely to be Readdle. Documents actually replaces the iPad version of ReaddleDocs, so if you already have it installed, the update should be available for you.

The good news is that Documents is now available for everyone else as well, so head to the App Store and find out for yourself if it’s the best document reader and media viewer yet.
