Free Music Download Plus is a complete music management solution with an integrated browser that also supports download capabilities with useful features like resume support and active download details. We tried downloading few of our favourite mp3 files and got them downloaded in no time with the multi threaded and simultaneous download features of the app. Moreover all your music downloads are saved in the files area which is more like a trimmed version of file manager where you can sort music downloads by date, name or perform actions like adding to playlist, opening the music file in another player or edit the ID tags.
Now that you have downloaded a few hundred music files and want to explore the, the files section is a good way to explore your stuff but not the best at having your music sorted by album, artist or as playlist. That’s where the music player in the app makes it easier to enjoy you music without any home work. The albums and artists tabs have a handy search function to get what you are looking for. Effortlessly all your search results or a some of them can be added to the playlist, you can also mark multiple albums at once add them to a playlist, something that’s easier then the stock music player and we loved it.
The music player is more or the less same and does what it is meant to, but its stuffed with some useful goodies that we have seen only in premium version of music players. 
The music player has equalizer settings with 22 presents  that you are sure to enjoy with your favourite music. Another utility is the sleep timer that has a wide range of timings to choose, from as low as a minute to 24 hours. Shuffle, repeat one and repeat all were not missed in the app either. And if you are someone who loves being social, the now playing screen also has ability to quickly share your current track on Facebook and twitter.
We tested a couple of music formats but felt quite disappointed with the limited music formats that are supported by “Free Music Download†app. So as long as you are downloading music files in mp3 format and video’s in mp4 you are good to go and the app would do more than you can handle.
The interface is fast and easy to use for quickly navigating between multiple sections that are displayed at the bottom navigation bar and can also be rearranged and customized with the interface editor.
All in all Free Music Download Plus is fully featured efficient music management solution that packs the power of browser, downloader, file manager, music player and video player all for just 99 cents. The tightly integrated controls and features make it a very good addition to the default music player. Free Music Download Plus is also available in a free version but the repetitive upgrade notifications forced us to finally upgrade to the “PLUS†variant of the app.
