City of Tempe launches new free app, Tempe 311 - CBS 5

TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

Do you live in Tempe and want to report a problem or get a question answered about the city? There is now a free app for that, Tempe 311.

Monday the City of Tempe launched the mobile application Tempe 311 where you can report a problem and it will get streamlined faster to the correct department. The application will also help process requests for service to those in the field faster.

Tempe 311 is the first centralized municipal call center in Arizona. There are specially trained employees working to answer everyone's questions or finding the correct person who can.

The free application is available for both Android and iPhone users. Android users can find the Tempe 311 app in Google Play and iPhone users will find the app in the App Store. In addition the application can be downloaded at http://www.tempe.gov/311 [1] .

If you do not have the app on your phone you can still reach Tempe 311 by calling 480-350-4311 weekdays 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., filling out a request form on line at http://www.tempe.gov/311 [2] , or by emailing tempe311@tempe.gov .

The City of Tempe urges the community to continue to utilize the Tempe Police Department for emergencies or by calling 911. If you have a complaint about a minor property crime or loud parties call 480-350-8311.
