Todayâs iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a dungeon crawling RPG, document viewer, unique musical platformer, and day in history app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others arenât worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
Heroes Call ($0.99 -> Free, Universal) [1] : A dungeon crawling RPG that was Appleâs App of the Week when it was released, and comes from the makers of Ski Safari. There are over 30 dungeons to explore, four playable characters, over 40 quests, and more than 100 different enemies.
Documents by Readdle ($4.99 -> Free, iPad) [2] : An extremely deluxe app that offers the capabilities of a document viewer, pdf reader, download manager, music player, and âread it laterâ app all in one. The app supports all kinds of files including documents, music, videos, books, and more allowing you to read, listen, view, download, and annotate.
Jazz: Trumpâs Journey ($2.99 -> Free, Universal) [3] : A 100% original game that depicts the parallel story to that of Louis Armstrong. The game combines elements of platformers, but combines it with playing musical notes as you travel across New Orleans. You get to fight for the birth of Jazz while creating a Jazz band, stopping time with your trumpet, and battling bosses and obstacles.
Calendarium ($0.99 -> Free, Universal) [4] : A daily app that provides historical facts about what happened on this day in history. The app also provides times of sunrise/sunset, number of week, day, day length, moon phase and more.
