Warrington, Pennsylvania â€" Gogal Publishing Company today announces the 2013 release of their GPS Fishing Guide to Pennsylvania 1.0 and GPS Fishing Guide to New Jersey 1.0 for iPhone, Android, and Garmin GPS devices. These GPS enabled apps provide turn-by-turn directions to thousands of fishing and boating destinations.
With the GPS Fishing Guide, anglers can search fishing spots by stream name, lake name, fishing regulation, target fish species, and more. The app then returns a list of fishing destinations presented in distance order from the user’s current location making it easy to find the nearby fishing no matter where you are. A GO button for each destination then provides turn-by-turn driving directions right to any fishing spot. For trip planning, the app can also list fishing spots in distance order from any town or city.
When asked why this product was needed, Gogal Publishing’s President, Mike Gogal said, “As a fisherman, I used to waste hours and hours at my computer just to find a few new places to fish. I’d then pull out my maps and try to find those spots in my car but many times I’d just get lost. Now I pull out my Fishing Guide, search for the type of fishing I want, pick a nearby spot, and press the GO button. Then I’m on my way. It’s that simple! Now I spend my time fishing instead of researching!â€
Every destination in the GPS Fishing Guide includes all the details an angler needs including fish species, seasons, size and creel limits at that location. In addition, boaters can find motor restrictions and boat ramp details like trailer parking, ramp type, condition and just about anything else they may need to enjoy a day on the water.
The GPS Fishing Guides to Pennsylvania and New Jerwey are available for iPhone, Android, and Garmin GPS.
When asked how updates are handled, Mike Gogal explained, “All updates are included in the original purchase price. Garmin users for instance, can now download their free 2013 update at Gogal Publishing online.
iPhone & Android users will find that their apps have already been automatically updated for the 2013 season. Future phone updates may require users to download a new version from the AppStore or GooglePLay however these updates are handled like any other phone app. You can do it all through your phone.â€
