‘Angry Birds’ and McDonalds Join Forces For A Location Based Promotion | The APPera

Thought that the Star Wars version of Angry Birds  was crazy? Well here’s some even crazier news from Rovio: it turns out that the company has teamed up with McDonalds, starting in China, to create a fast food-centric game.

Check out the McDonalds China website, [1] it’s loaded with Angry Birds promotion.

It looks like the whole promotion will involve Angry Birds going location aware, with some power ups only being available when you’re playing inside of McDonalds. Unfortunately at the moment there is no word on whether the promotion will be making its way over to American (Amurika!) McDonalds, but if the promotion goes well in Asia why not right?
