Romney Campaign Launches 'Mitt's VP' App

Those in Dormont and Brookline who are waiting to hear Mitt Romney's choice for vice presidental nominee will have a very technological way of getting the news.

Romney [1] 's campaign on Tuesday announced the release of a newâ€"freeâ€"app, for iPhone and Android, that will serve to break the news of Romney's vice presidential nominee, according to The Washington Post [2] .

This year, the Republican presidential candidate is expected to make his decision once he returns to the U.S. and before the Republican National Convention, which kicks off on Aug. 27, the newspaper reports.

Rumored to be in the running are Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindalâ€"just to name a few.

President Barack [3] Obama [4] announced his running mate, Joe Biden, via text message four years ago. Mobile users received his news at 3 a.m. that election year.
