Dash: Finding Good Food. Fast

Are you looking for a way to shake up your dining experience? Tired of visiting the same restaurants and searching for a new favorite? Dash: Finding Good Food. Fast wants to be your go to app when it comes time to discover that new eatery. The app lets you quickly filter restaurants by type (quick eat, sit down, drinks or dessert), price and location. You provide your location and Dash pulls up a list of suggestions for you to choose from.

On the restaurants detailed screen you’ll be able to see the type of food served, how many reviews it has and highlights from the menu. If you log into the app with your Facebook account you can create highlights of your own. The detail screen will provide location and contact information as well as the business hours. Using your Facebook account you can also “like” restaurants and Dash will keep track of the ones you’ve noted and the locations where you’ve made highlights.  By adding in the social media connection you can use Dash to find out where your friends are dining and what they are eating. It’s an easy way to get restaurant recommendations!

Dash has a very clean, easy to use interface and I really like how they’ve kept things simple. Everything you need to know is right at your fingertips. All you have to do is tap the “Dash” button and you’ll have restaurant suggestions. Now when it comes to those suggestions I’m not exactly sure how the data is being pulled in and how large of an area is supported at the moment. I live in a metropolitan area, but I’m unable to get nearby results just yet. I’ll keep the app on my phone though because I like the concept and it really is so simple to use. Go ahead and download it â€" Dash is free and worth a look to see what you can find in your own area. If you’re like us and frequently in a restaurant rut you know that dining inspiration can be priceless!
