Wouldn’t it be convenient to have an ultra reliable alarm clock on your iPhone or iPad? Now, with Yocto Alarm Clock â€" you are able to have just that â€" a reliable alarm clock with lots of features right on your device (iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad â€" see Requirements below). I think that this app is very attractive and appears to work great â€" plus it is a fully functional app with no ads that is FREE to download!
The main functions of the Yocto Alarm Clock are as follows: wake-up alarms, sleep timers, and weather forecast. With the wake-up alarms, you can wake up to a built-in melody (over 70 sounds to choose from), or a custom playlist straight from your very own iTunes library. Some neat features included with the wake-up alarms are the ability to hit the “snooze†button, choose the vibrate mode, have a backup alarm and much more. One feature that could be great for us moms is the Power Nap mode which allows you to instantly set an alarm for 5 minutes to 1 hour from the current time â€" could come in handy for sure! The sleep timers allow you to listen to built-in soundscapes (looping sounds) to help you fall asleep, or you may also create a custom playlist from your iTunes library â€" you simply set the sleep timer and listen to the relaxing music to fall asleep. One of the features that I thought was neat was the ability to use another app to play audio (internet radio or a podcast).
Yocto Alarm Clock offers tons of features for a free app. The app has a sleek look with a fully configurable display that even includes the weather forecast for your local area. You will have the option to customize your Yocto Alarm Clock with a variety of fonts and text colors, as well as built-in wallpaper or a photo from your own photo library.
I really enjoyed using Yocto Alarm Clock. I think that this app offers a lot and I cannot believe it is free (I should mention there is a “Tip Jar†feature where you are able to tip $0.99 if you feel so inclined and are pleased with the app download). I would highly recommend checking out the Yocto Alarm Clock app!
