Finally after a long wait is available in Store Play the first official version of VLC for Android . VLC is an open source multi-platform multimedia player that plays media files of many formats with various codec support really endless. That at the time available is a BETA and is not completely stable.

The version is intended for devices with NEON ARMv7 processor (most Android devices) but also other versions will be released soon.
