Good Free App of the Day: LEGO Star Wars Funzone!

Screen Shot 2012-07-01 at 10.21.04 AMToday's Good Free App of the Day allows children to watch cool short videos featuring the LEGO Star Wars universe and also view LEGO Star Wars creations that people have built! A Clone Warrior Rock Band!?!

LEGO Star Wars Funzone is full of videos and images that any Star Wars fan will enjoy, and if they have the LEGO sets (and a parent creates an account for them) they can also submit their own creations or vote on which ones they like best!

 

LEGO guarantees that the image submission and commenting system is monitored 24-hours a day. The app is iPhone only, but works fine if you x2 it on an iPad. LEGO Star Wars Fun Zone requires an internet connection, although the videos can be streamed or downloaded and watched at any time.

The last free Star Wars app we featured for Good Free App of the Day, Lego Star Wars Battle Orders , has cruised all the way up to No. 22 in our Top 100 Free Apps rankings .

CREATIONS
Unleash the force of your creativity. Take pictures of your awesome new creations with the app and upload them directly to the Creations gallery where millions of fans can see and comment on them. Use the app to keep track of what other fans are saying about your creation.

-3G mode can be switched off so users cannot stream content whilst on 3G
-All photos, descriptions, tags and comments are moderated 24/7 to ensure high safety standards for our users
-Unlimited creations can be submitted
-Up to 5 images per creation can be submitted
-Interact with other fans through giving and receiving likes and comments
-Full iPhone 4, iPod Touch front and back camera support
-Delete downloaded movies within settings
-LEGO ID sign-in is required to upload creations and comment on them (you can sign-up through LEGO.com or through the app if you don’t already have a free account) â€" but is not required to browse creations and/or watch movie content
