Jailbreaking allows you to customize your iPhone and iPod to more details, like changing the background screen, dial pad or even the themes. Many people consider that Apple is having monopoly in applications and games. This is because the non-jailbreak device will allow only Apple applications and softwares, which means you don’t have any freedom in choice.

 What about arguments against Jailbreaking?
To be honest, they exist too. Apple, no doubt, has strict and tight controls over iOS based products. There is a wide range of the limitations, but one of it limiting the users’ access to customization and preventing them to use the applications and softwares that haven’t come from Apple’s app store.
Apple always wants to ensure the smooth, error-free and high quality experience when its devices are used. By requiring the users to take apps only from Apple store, it ensures that the applications and software has met minimum coding quality and has maximum security. It allows you and other users to be safe from the malicious applications. Anyhow, these third party apps, the user have allowed after jailbreaking may cause several errors in using the devices like freezing, and data corruption. Moreover, jailbreaking would also make you voided of warranty, because Apple won’t accept it as their product, since you have already breached their Operating System and modified it.
