Arsenal continue to pursue £14m rated Spanish forward Adrian despite having secured the signings of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski according to Mundo Deportivo [3] .
The Atletico Madrid man is set to become the subject of a fight between the North London club and Bayern Munich as both sides take a keen interest in the 24 year old forward.
Last term the Spanish international netted 19 goals in all competitions for his Vicente Calderon side but is appears that the former Malaga and Deportivo La Coruna striker is stalling on signing a new deal with the La Liga side he joined only a year ago.
Adrian Lopez narrowly missed out on a spot in Vicente del Bosqueâs Euro 2012 squad having scored a goal and won a penalty on his national team debut against Serbia in May. The talented forward helped his side to clinch a Europa League triumph last term, netting 12 goals in the competition.
However Atletico Madrid failed to secure a Champions League berth which could result in Diego Simeoneâs side having to consider offers for their top talents in order to balance the books and they may feel that selling Adrian is preferable to listening to offers for top scorer Radamel Falcao.
Though Arsene Wenger has brought in two top forwards and hopes to keep Robin Van Persie at the Emirates Stadium he may well look to clear-out all his other attacking options with the likes of Nicklas Bendtner, Carlos Vela, Park Chu-Young and Marouane Chamakh all failing to impress at the North London club.
