NAVV, the iPhone navigation brand of NDrive has launched a new application called Globetrotter that offers a 30 days trial with free turn-by-turn voice guided navigation.
The GPS navigation application is made for a global use and maps of countries or regions are downloaded inside the app, after the application has been installed.
The application is running on TomTom’s Tele Atlas maps and after the 30 days trial the lifetime license is quite affordable. It cost €11.99 for a group of countries like Benelux, DACH, or Baltic States. Single countries like Italy, Poland, or Greece, go for €10.49; Western or Eastern Europe go for €19.99 each, and the whole European footprint goes for €29.99 in total.
As announced at Mobile World Congress last month, NDrive and TomTom are back in business after having settled their litigation on map licenses ( read here and here ).
