Cheer up comic fans! Marvel has released [1] their classic graphic novels on Apple’s iBookstore which can be downloaded [2] right now on your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. Prices currently start from free to $24.99 with “New Avengers Vol. 1: Breakout [3] †available as a free download for a limited time. The publisher says it has “entered a bold new era in digital comics†with the release of iconic Marvel stories and characters on the iBooks (via [4] 9to5Mac).
Marvel wrote on their website:
“With an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, Marvel fans across the world can now purchase over 80 graphic novels with fan-favorite characters like Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man and more by launching the iBooks app.â€
