This week, "App-ropos" is taking a drink with Brewski Me, a locally "brewed" app out of Winter Haven, as part of our look at fresh apps.
Brewski Me allows beer drinkers to keep track of what beers they are drinking, have drunk or wish they were drinking. Brewski Me allows users to share their beer-drinking experiences within the Brewski Me network or through other social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare, with the option of posting a photo of the beer you are drinking. What a great way to make your friends jealous. Brewski Me also awards you different Beer Caps based upon the beers you have drunk, adding another fun element to having a beer.
Several of the cool features of Brewski Me are the ability to rate the beers you are enjoying and add them as favorites, submit beers into its very large database of beers, keep track of the beers in your cellar, and, certainly, peruse the Beer Garden. In the beer garden, you have a chance to explore beer by Breweries or by Styles. The Styles feature will allow the novice beer drinker to find other beers in a style they enjoy.
The beer drinker's experience is great. The user interface is well thought out, with the features where you would expect them. The only drawback I could find with Brewski Me is the lack of an Android app. Otherwise, no one should enjoy a beer without it.
