Beer Pong HD is such a fun game it reminds me of my college days. In my book, this is one of the best top free apps [1] available. I’m sure many of you remember this game from back in the day but the truth is you don’t have to have alcohol in your system to actually enjoy it, it really is fun sober.
The gameplay is simple and very much like your regular beer pong game that you may remember from not to long ago. I know, I’m older and I’m sure this game is still played in colleges all around the globe! The object is simple, with the free gameplay you are only able to play in single mode which gives you your choice of four levels; easy, medium, hard and pro mode which I have yet to tackle! From there you can choose ten, six, or three cup options. I personally really enjoy the easy mode but I also like to win. I tried playing the game on pro and while the concept is the same, something about it is much more challenging.
I love the sound effects on this game. You hear people in the background burping and say, oh, almost, what a vote of confidence right? I also noticed that the computer really isn’t all that great. Sometimes they get a lucky shot but on the easy mode I was beating the computer almost every time which certainly puts a smile on my face, or maybe it’s the beer that’s putting the smile on my face?
With the paid version of this game you are given a few more options such as the ability to change table designs. I’m not sure if you are able to change the length of the table or just the design/color of the table either way, paying to have a different table doesn’t really appeal to me that much since the color of the table doesn’t help me to win the game.
Under the options menu you can turn on the sound effects or toggle them off and you can also turn the voices off if you’d like that are in the background, but I rather like them. Camera sway or static is also an option so you should test them out and see which one you like the best.
Overall I have found this game to be a great time spender. I have a couple of free hours in the evenings sometimes and I like to open up a game that’s fun, challenging and makes me laugh a little and this is one of them. While in college I didn’t spend too much of my time boozing it up, I certainly liked this game and I am now able to enjoy it on my iPhone and for free so what can be better than that? It’s definitely a game that I will be recommending to my friends and family and I’m pretty sure they’ll love it just as much as I do.
