Answer #4
Jailbreaking your ipod is the way to go! You can customize it in so many different ways, from backgrounds, to sounds, to well everything. You can get a camera and lots of other useful tools that aren’t available through itunes and best of all, most of of them are free! And don’t worry, if something goes wrong, you just restore your phone back to factory settings, and start again. Now as far as if your phone becomes broken, it depends, if it’s your software or hardware that starts acting up, then restore it and than take it to an Apple store. They’ll never know it was jailbroken and you get a new ipod or iphone under warranty. If it break it as in pieces, then you may not be able to restore it, and no Apple does not fix jailbroken phones.
WARNING***
Neil is incorrect, jailbreaking an iphone does not allow you to use it with a different cellphone company. That is called UNLOCKING and is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than jailbreaking.
