Facebook Playlists Spread To More Devices

Videos, music, and pictures from Facebook and other sources can now be added to playlists for the iPhone, Android smartphones, and other devices that use Airplay and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance), following the release of Eye-C Taglists.

Eye-C Taglists [1] allow users of the devices mentioned above to compile playlists of videos, music, and pictures from Facebook, SoundCloud, YouTube, Picasa, and their personal libraries.

Other devices that support Airplay and DLNA include connected TVs, tablets, and set-top boxes.

The Eye-C Taglists app is available free of charge for Apple iOS [2] and Android [3] users.

Eyecon founder and Chief Executive Officer Ari Birger said:

Imagine you’re having a party on Saturday night. You’ve got a couple of days to build the perfect mix, but the music you want is scattered in multiple locations, like YouTube or SoundCloud, or perhaps your home music collection. With Eye-C Taglists, just start tagging tracks #SaturdayNightParty, and the app creates the playlist for you. You can even turn your taglist out to the world, or just your friends, and let them do the work for you. When Saturday night comes around, you’ve got a killer playlist mixing hundreds or thousands of tunes and videos that you can play on just about any device in your house.
