Alaska Airlines says its application for the iPhone and iPod touch is now available with a new feature that gives users the ability to check in and access their mobile boarding passes within the app.
Other features include the ability to track flight status and boarding information, select and change seats, view multiple flight itineraries and track mileage plan account information.
The app is available for free from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore [1] . Later this year, the airline said it plans to launch an Android app and a refreshed mobile- optimized website to make access to www.alaskaair.com [2] more convenient for other mobile devices and tablet users.
