Here are 18 Android Wear apps that you can download from the Play Store now

 

Earlier today, Google announced that the Play Services 5.0 update was completed , which means developers are now free to publish their Android Wear apps. I was actually surprised to see how many launched today.

I have compiled a list of Android Wear apps that include Eat24, Allthecooks, Trello, Glympse, and 14 others.

So hit the break to find out how to make your Android Wear smartwatch just a little bit better.

Trello [1]

• Create cards directly from your watch by saying “take a note”
• Reply to comments without using your phone. Simply swipe left on any comment notification and tap reply.
• Rich notifications for your watch.

Eat24 [2]  (As seen at Google I/O)

• This is the very first Android Wear-capable version of the Eat24 Android app, which means if you’re lucky enough to have an LG G Watch or Samsung Gear Live, you can re-order from your favorite restaurants with just a few simple voice and finger commands. This is awesome for a couple reasons, the main one being YOU CAN ORDER PIZZA FROM A WATCH.

Allthecooks [3]  (As seen at Google I/O)

• Android Wear support for sync recipes to watches.
• Just open the recipe and it will synchronize in your watch timeline. Press “open on watch” to wake up your watch and start cooking.

Glympse [4]

• Support for Android Wear, includes a debut feature exclusive to Android wearables â€" send a Glympse to Favorite Phone Contacts upon installation.

• Share your contact details by bumping Android watches together!
