December 30, 2011, 5:40 PM â€" Here's how you can download free apps and games for your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. You can download them directly from your device, but here's how you can get them from iTunes so you can sync them to your iOS device.
1. Open iTunes.
2. Go the iTunes store by clicking the store link in the left column of the iTunes application.
3. Click the App Store link at the top of iTunes.
4. Look to the right and click the See All link in the Free Apps list.
5. You'll see a list of the top 200 free apps and games available for the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
6. If you want to see the free apps for a particular category, click the App Store drop down menu at the top of Itunes then choose your category of apps. From there scroll down to the Free Apps list on the right and click See All.
7. If you just want to download free games, click the App Store menu and then choose the Games category. Scroll down to the Free Apps list on the right and then click See All.
