A great website has just come to our attention called âTeeVeePlayr [1] ,â which allows British Apple fans to watch live TV on an iOS device for free.
You can access a whole load of UK TV channels (after registering with the service) on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with an Internet connection. Once youâve signed up and logged in to the service, touching a channel from the selection presented will, after an ad plays, open a live stream. (You might be directed over to TVCatchup, another website, when playing a video â" donât worry, this website worked fine for us and didnât require a paid account either.)
The quality of the live streams is good enough (not perfect, but you canât complain when itâs free, can you?), and itâs also possible to pause streams on an iOS device.
If you live in the United Kingdom itâs also possible to view the BBCâs channels on an iPad for free using the BBC iPlayer app . However, if you want to enjoy channels such as ITV, Channel 4 and Dave, take a look at this service now, and be sure to let us know how it works for you in the comments.
[Thanks Billy for the tip!]
