With the English Premier League fast approaching, Betfred and Fantasy iTeam have agreed a 12-month partnership for a new fantasy football manager app.
The Fantasy iTeam app is available on Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod mobile devices, with a version coming soon for Android phones.
Fantasy iTeam is a mobile fantasy football manager game for the English Premier League. Unlike other fantasy football games which rely on a website for sign-up and management, Fantasy iTeam is accessed and managed entirely on the Apple iPhone, iPod or iPad, providing a truly mobile experience for users.
This season's app is now available for free download at the Apple App Store with features including live scoring, head to head challenges, integrated betting through Betfred, social networking and prize competitions with over £10,000 of prizes up for grabs.
Players will compete against each other, former players and celebrities and even the boss of Betfred, Fred Done who will be running his own Mini League for the Manager of the Month. Prizes include VIP match day packages, iPad2s and cash.
Discussing the partnership, Betfred's Head of Media Mark Pearson said: "The beauty of this new app is that you can manage your team anywhere now and you can also have a little punt on the football. We are also incorporating social media to encourage banter which is what football is all about."
