Lifehack’s technology and communication writer, Alicia Prince, offers some tips to extend your iPhone battery life.
  • Turn off Wi-Fi, cellular data and Bluetooth unless you are actively using them. Leaving them on will cause your phone to scan for various networks several times a minute and run down the battery.
  • Decrease your screen brightness. Swipe up from the bottom and slide the brightness toggle to the left until you reach a level you can still use.
  • Limit location services. For apps that use your location to provide GPS services or allow you to “check in,” make sure they’re set to “While Using” so they aren’t constantly monitoring your location and draining the battery.
