One of the best things about touchscreen devices like the iPhone and iPad is that kids are naturally drawn to them.

Find All [2] is a great educational app for iOS that encourages kids to study surroundings by having them find all of the hidden objects in each game.

Concept and Functionality:

Find All, developed by Kateryna Salatova [3] , aims to help kids develop fine motor skills, concentration, focus, and visual-active thinking. Each game has a handful of objects that match the theme of the game (butterflies in a garden, for example) and kids must find each object.

When they’ve located it, all they have to do is tap and the object will scurry off the screen. Once all objects have been located, a fanfare plays and the next Find All game begins.

One of the things I noticed about Find All is that objects occasionally appear too close to the top of the game screen, making it almost impossible to tap them due to interference from the iOS time/battery bar.

Not only will this likely frustrate kids, but it could also lead them to bring up the Notification Center and get into something other than the game.

Find All is a very simple game, which is perfect for curious young kids who just want to have fun.

There are educational aspects to it, though, which is perfect for parents who want to make sure their child isn’t mindlessly mashing their fingers on the screen.

I like to think of Find All as challenging, but certainly not impossible.

One thing I do want to mention, though, is that Find All is a fairly sizable download. The app requires over 200 MB of space, so be sure to double-check your device’s storage capacity before downloading.

Value:

Find All is available to download from the App Store for free and is universally compatible with iPhone and iPad.

The free version comes with 6 games, and the full version can be purchased for $1.99. This unlocks 8 additional games for kids to enjoy.

All in all, Find All is definitely a great game for kids because it’s a bit challenging, and we think that’s a good thing since it helps to build focus and concentration.

Another plus is that Parents don’t have to worry about external links or distractions, which is always a good thing.
