Jupiter Ascending delayed to 2015 – Irish Independent

Mila Kunis’ movie has been pushed back to next year

The sci-fi adventure â€" also starring Channing Tatum [1] , Sean Bean [2] and Eddie Redmayne â€" was due to be released in July but has been put back to February 6 next year.

The date was changed because directors Andy and Lana Wachowski need more time to complete work on the special effects, reported Variety.

Warner Bros’ Dan Fellman said: “With the July release date, they were just not going to make it on time.

“A lot of the issue for us was getting it ready for the international release, since the foreign territories need additional time.”

Jupiter Ascending sees Mila play a cleaner who discovers that she is a galactic princess. She is targeted for assassination when the Queen of the Universe decides she is a threat to her rule.
