As much as we would like it to be, not everything in life is free. However, your beloved iPhone offers thousands of free apps, although it is quite hard to determine which ones are actually worthwhile, until you download them.
So I have gathered the top 5 free most useful iPhone apps, which will no doubt make you life a lot easier and hassle free!
1. Find my iPhone
This new but highly valuable app is definitely a must have for all iPhone owners. The Find My iPhone app [1] does exactly what it says on the tin, and helps you locate a lost or stolen iPhone.
It also works on other Apple devices, such as iMacs and iPads .
It works by using your Apple login to find the geo-location of any of your devices, as long as they are connected to Wi-Fi or 3G (the only downside to this app is that someone may have already turned off the Wi-Fi/3G in anticipation).
A useful feature of this app is that you can set your phone to make a loud noise, even in silent mode, when you have lost it in your home.
The app also allows you to send a message to your phone’s screen if you know who has your phone and you wish to contact them.
2. Onavo

Battery Life Pro [3] is a feature-rich battery extending application that is perfect for those who regularly find themselves with a dead battery.
The app monitors and maintains your battery life by analyzing various information which affects your battery.
4. Remember the milk

Remember the Milk [4] is the best free app to make sure you never forget your to-do list!
It works with Apple’s Siri â€" but on the iPhone 4S only.

5. Shazam
How many times have you heard a song and wanted to know what it is? Or heard a song, and couldn’t for the life of you remember what it is?
Well, now you don’t need to feel frustrated ever again, with Shazam [5] coming to the rescue.
Just open the app, and let Shazam hear the song, and within seconds you will know the title and artist.
If you really love the song, Shazam will automatically connect with iTunes to let you buy it.
This really is one of my favourite apps!
