iphone 3gs – Rogers to Virgin Mobile

I purchased a Virgin Mobile sim card and plan and was planning to use my iphone 3gs, It includes morphed into a nightmare. I’d cydia there but couldnt obtain it to unlock i really might use my sim card. Therefore i only, restored those 4.5 ios and Im hoping some one on here can have some advice for me on which to perform, there are numerous guides and tutorials and have tried a few that have lost their success.
