Shazam offers unlimited free tagging on Apple iOS devices
Sep 29, 2011 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Mobile discovery company Shazam is now offering unlimited free tagging on the Apple iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, the company announced today.
Shazam's free app is supported primarily by advertising, exclusive sponsorships and product sales. The company has signed an agreement for Capital One Financial Corporation COF to be the launch sponsor for unlimited tagging in the free Shazam App on iOS and Android worldwide.
The move to no-limits means more opportunities for Shazamers to discover and engage with their favourite music, television shows and brands, the company said.
Subscribers of Encore, the premium version of the Shazam service, will continue to have access to additional exclusive features such as LyricPlay and an ad-free environment.
