First of all this offer is only available to Orange Home Broadband Customers, mobile with pay monthly, pay as you go, mobile broadband and business accounts. Coming over to the point, Orange Film To Go is offering 1 movie free download on every Thursday which actually costs (£4.49). If you do not have time then you can simply download and watch this later on. Choice is yours, whichever movie you like from Apple iTunes store, just download one and enjoy anytime you wish. Orange film to go is already offering an attractive option to its customers which is very popular and is known as Orange Wednesdays and now they are coming up with this one for their customers and likely to gain much more popularity. In previous orange Wednesdays offer, the customers had the great opportunity to get 2 for 1 cinema tickets.
You can simply download movies by following three methods:
1. Sending a text message ‘FILMTOGO’ to 85060.
2. Mobile application which is dedicated for this purpose ‘Film to go’.
3. Logging on to their facebook page facebook.com/orangefilmclub.
There you will be asked to enter the response code and then you will be sent to orange webpage to start iTunes download. Remember that it will cost you normal data transfer rate charges if you use 3G connection and Apple devices automatically stop downloading after 20MB so better is to download using wifi connection. Validity of this download is 30 days and in this period you will be able to watch the downloaded content on any device, iPad, iPhone or even Laptop. This means Orange is not giving you the movies but is only allowing users to download on rental basis.
Average download for a movie of 1 to 1.5 GB ranges from 18 to 24 minutes using 5MB broadband connection and for HD movie the time will be increased to 54 – 72 minutes for 3 to 4.5GB download. There are certain terms and conditions which apply and an important one includes that at least 13 years of age is required to download a movie.
