Todayâs iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a dual stick shooter, quick video recorder, retro destruction game, and a save for later YouTube app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others arenât worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
Max Adventure ($0.99 -> Free, Universal [1] ): A deluxe dual stick shooter with a story driven campaign with multiple levels across three environments. You play as Max, and itâs up to him to save his parents, and parents all over the world from the alien invasion. The game is one of the best dual stick shooters in the App Store that is packed with fun and action throughout.
RecNow ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone) [2] : The app simply lets you begin recording video as quickly as possible. You tap the app, and youâre instantly recording with no other buttons to press, and you just tap the screen to save your recording at a momentâs notice.
Box Cat ($2.99 -> Free, Universal) [3] : A retro title that is all about causing as much havoc and destruction as possible. You control Box Cat, and roll into intersections smashing as many cars as possible though waves in adventure and survival modes.
FoxTube â" YouTube Cache ($2.99 -> Free, iPhone) [4] : The app lets you pre cache YouTube videos so that you donât need to buffer before watching regardless of the quality of your internet connection. You can also set-up playlists, use gestures for playback, and cache in the background.
